Step right up, swipe your credit card here, it's open season on free agents and there are no ongoing sales. … As of 12:01 this morning, agents could field calls from teams and begin negotiating. Suspicions are strong that no calls were made and the market is going to be slow to develop, stretching deep into December.

CENTRAL North selectors will be on a bit of a restocking mission at Gunnedah tomorrow. The make-up of the open side to contest the Country Championships next weekend will be determined after tomorrow's trial at Kitchener Park and, while all spots are up for grabs, the bowling line-up will require particular attention. The departures of Josh Trappel and Andrew Kealy to Tasmania and the unavailability of Brad Bannister has left selectors searching for replacements in the pace ranks.

GWENT rugby legend Graham Price says Wales should avoid getting into a street fight with Argentina's scrummaging bruisers at all costs tomorrow afternoon. And the ex-Lions, Wales and Pontypool tighthead believes Sale's Eifion Roberts should have been included in Wales' squad as a replacement for the injured Adam Jones. So how can Wales counter Argentina's much vaunted scrummaging machine?

Paul James has tried hard but he is playing in an unfamiliar position for him in all fairness. He is used to playing on the loose-head.   -Graham Price

UA President Robert Witt presented what he said was a preliminary design to trustees earlier this month, but stressed the plan is not finished.

We're ridiculously excited about starting work on the next album. We're definitely progressing as a band, incorporating some new influences to make an album that's more mature, darker and generally a lot heavier. I've been writing riffs thinking things like „what if (TOOL guitarist) Adam Jones played guitar in DEATH" haha. The songs are a little longer this time around and a bit more complex and technical which is something that's just happened naturally.
